- Paul Davis Review added: 2018.03.23★ ★ ★ ★ ★We have just returned from a week's visit to this lovely campsite. The owners could not have been more helpful, welcoming us on arrival and taking us to our pitch. Yes the site slopes but not too much and Ray provides practical assistance in levelling the unit. The site is small but very friendly. Pitches are large to enormous - plenty of space for the largest units! The facilities are adequate for the size of site and kept very clean. We wondered how the 50p for the shower would work but it was fine - long hot showers. We chose the campsite because of the surrounding area and were not disappointed. We visited loads of interesting places: Ludlow, and Cardingmill valley at Church Stretton are not to be missed. For food supplies there is a small community shop a 10 mins wlak from the site - surprisingly well-stocked. There is a supermarket, Tuffins, at Craven Arms and a number of supermarkets in Ludlow itself. For a more gourmet experience try the Ludlow Food centre just north of Ludlow. Overall an excellent visit.
